Description:

Ancient Egypt, Late Dynastic Period, 26th to 31st Dynasty, ca. 664 to 332 BCE. A miniature mold-made, very pale green ushabti. The mummiform figure stands atop an integral horizontal plinth, has a braided false beard, and wears a tripartite wig; the facial features are clear and easily-discernable. A panel of hieroglyphs runs down the back of the figure, whose crossed hands hold tools to sow the fields of Osiris in the afterlife. Size: 0.7" W x 1.85" H (1.8 cm x 4.7 cm)
