Roman, Imperial Period, ca. 1st to 3rd century CE. A lovely 98% gold (equivalent to 22K+) bracelet with wonderful glass beadwork. The design is quite elegant; 28 glass beads of rounded forms and various hues including green, blue, and white are arranged in 14 pairs joined via attractive 22K+ gold links and fastened by a hook and loop clasp. Simple yet elegant with many beads boasting marvelous rainbow iridescence. Size (bracelet): 7.5" L (19 cm); (largest bead): 0.125" W (0.3 cm); quality of gold: 98% (equivalent to 22K+); total weight: 2.7 grams.
