Roman, Imperial Period, ca. 1st to 3rd century CE. A gorgeous necklace constructed with dozens of petite carnelian beads of warm vermilion and citrine hues. The necklace features beads in spherical, trapezoidal, barrel, and teardrop forms that alternate with petite seed-form beads, and the central bead is shaped like a broad diamond. Capped with a gold-plated loop and lobster clasp combo, this is a beautiful necklace, perfect to wear on any occasion. Size: 20.125" L (51.1); (central bead): 0.55" W x 0.6" H (1.4 cm x 1.5 cm)
