Description:

Roman, Imperial period, ca. 1st century CE. A charming cup comprised of incredibly thin, translucent, olive-green glass, its graceful form with a curved profile, two thin, wheel cut bands around the middle of its walls, and a thick, disc-shaped foot. The rim is ground smooth. A lovely example that is well-preserved despite its delicacy, made with a pleasing weight and shape to fit perfectly into your hand. You can easily imagine an ancient Roman swirling his or her wine in this glass! Size: 2.7" W x 3.75" H (6.9 cm x 9.5 cm)
