Description:

Eastern Mediterranean, ca. early 1st century CE. Sea-green glass Unguentarium bottle, having a tapered bulbous body, long tapered cylindrical neck and flat rolled lip. Overall marbleized surface with iridescence in the marbleized areas. Size: 5.125”H x 2.63”W (13 x 6.7cm).

Provenance: Collection of Bernard Poindessault, acquired before 10/27/1975. Ex. Oger-Blanchet Hotel Drouot, Auction Lot 89, 12/10/2014.
