An impressive terracotta depiction of a bearded Ithyphallic male, Bes-like and pot-bellied crouching with his right hand on his knee, his left cradling his phallus. Nice remains of red pigment. Size: 3-7/8"H (10 cm). Provenance: Ex-Nancy Mallen, London, 1972; Ghassan Haddad collection, London; acquired at Christie’s New York, June 2004.
