North Pacific, Hawaii, ca. May 2015 CE. Inscribed "Jacaranda / FC 5/2015" on underside of foot. A beautiful bowl carved from almond-hued wood of the jacaranda tree and boasting a stone and glass inlay in shades of turquoise, cobalt, black, emerald, and coral. Displaying a lustrous surface of swirling natural woodgrain, the vessel presents an annular foot and walls that taper in thickness as the spread out to a broad, circular rim. The ovoid inlay embellishes both the interior and exterior of the dish. Size: 10" W x 5.6" H (25.4 cm x 14.2 cm)
