Ancient Egypt, New Kingdom Period, 18th to 20th Dynasty, ca. 1549 to 1076 BCE. A hand-built faience offering cup of a petite size, defined by a lightly-flared base, gradually-expanding walls, a rolled rim, and a deep interior cavity. The interior and exterior of the vessel is covered in pale turquoise-hued glaze. Size: 1.5" W x 2.1" H (3.8 cm x 5.3 cm).
