Egypt, Late Dynastic to Early Roman Period, ca. 330 to 100 BCE. In a word - stunning! Bronze statuette of Isis showing strong western influence. She stands wearing long sash over her shoulders and around her waist, else nude; wearing large plumed crown with solar disc and uraeus, winged Isis pectoral hangs around her neck. Wonderful deep brown patina. 3-3/4" H, not counting custom wooden stand. With stand, total height is 5-1/4". Provenance: Ex-private Chicago, IL collection originally acquired over 40 years ago.
