Syria, ca. 2nd Millennium BCE. Composed of twenty-five rock crystal beads, graduated in size and chiefly biconical in form, the largest with three cut grooves at its widest point, all interspersed with sixteen biconical silver beads. 18" long.

Provenance: Ex-S. Powers Collection, acquired at Christie's, December 5, 2001. Ex-Asian Collection acquired between 1968 - 1972. All items in this auction have been legally acquired, are legal to sell, and guaranteed to be as described or your money back. A certificate of Authenticity will accompany all winning bids, papered by our parent company, Artemis Gallery Ancient Art. The starting price is the lowest price at which the lot can sell.
