North America, US Midwest, Missouri, near St. Louis, ca. 1000 BCE to 1500 CE. This is an astounding collection of thirteen arrowheads, hand-knapped from chert, and all found near St. Louis, Missouri. This group shows a wide variety of styles including serrated edges and differing styles of tangs, some being longer or wider than others, and all displaying a wide range of earthtone hues such as gray, pink, beige, wheat, white, black, and yellow. The locations of all but one of the arrowheads are listed on small labels, the center from Scottsbluff, and the others from (starting from the right-most stone) Table Rock, Lange, Meadowood, Brewerton, Hamilton, Burkett, Hemphill, Robbins, Gibson, Rice, and Nolan. Size of largest (Scottsbluff): 4.3" L (10.9 cm).
