Description:

Southeast Asia, Indonesia, Borneo, ca. late 18th to early 19th century CE. A fine set of three forged-iron spear blades that are likely of British origin. Each weapon bears a petaloid blade with a shallow midrib, sharpened edges, and a thick shoulder that rests above a narrow, protruding tang. One spear head has a pair of shallow fullers running along roughly the first half of the body. Each piece is enveloped with lustrous gray-brown patina that makes for an appealing presentation. Size of largest: 16.6" L x 1.5" W (42.2 cm x 3.8 cm)
