United States, ca. 19th century CE. A collection of 3 USA 19th century bank notes. A Bank of Augusta Georgia $5 note remainder (unsigned and unissued) so the year is left blank "18-." A New Jersey Sussex Bank $50 remainder note. A Rhode Island Gloucester Farmers' Exchange Bank $10 note, dated 1808. This is from the first bank to fail in the USA in 1809, it was only incorporated 5 years prior in 1804- they issued more currency than the bank's assets could cover. Size: 6.5" L x 2.75" W (16.5 cm x 7 cm)

  • Condition: Creasing to Gloucester note, foxing and staining, otherwise very good circulated condition. Tiny crease to corner on Sussex note, great condition, uncirculated. Augusta note is excellent, uncirculated.
