Description:

**Originally Listed At $200**

Near East / Mediterranean, ca. 1000 BCE to 100 CE. A set of three ancient bronze bracelets, each hand-forged with simple designs. With thick, rounded bands and time-softened edges, these pieces display attractive green and brown patination from centuries of burial. The largest and smallest have overlapping terminal ends, while the third tapers from the center to a gap opening. While the exact cultural origin is uncertain, each were XRF tested and identified as classic tin bronze - the styles and forms are broadly consistent with Late Bronze Age to Iron Age ornaments from the ancient Near East or eastern Mediterranean. A fine trio showcasing the timeless elegance of early metalworking traditions. Size: 2.8" Diameter x 0.25" W (7.1 cm x 0.6 cm)

Provenance: Collection of Y. Kayvan, Los Angeles, California, USA, acquired from a Los Angeles, California, USA gallery acquisition dates range from the late 1990s to 2005
