Description:

Native American, Northwest Coast, Alaska, Inuit, ca. early to mid-20th century CE. A pair of napkin rings carved from walrus ivory, one decorated in relief with a walrus, the other incised with a sled dog team. Both designs feature recessed etchings highlighted with pigment, enhancing the imagery against the smooth ivory surfaces. Size of larger: 2.3" L x 1.3" W (5.8 cm x 3.3 cm)
