Central Asia, Indus Valley, Harappan/Mohenjo-Daro civilization, ca. 2700 to 2000 BCE. A set of 2 hand-built pottery vessels, an apple-shaped jar and a tapered bowl. The yellow-orange jar features black-painted linear motifs across the exterior while the bowl exhibits an undecorated russet hue. Size of largest: 6" W x 6.25" H (15.2 cm x 15.9 cm)

Provenance: private Santa Fe, New Mexico, USA collection, inherited via grandfather, who collected before 1980
