Pre-Columbian, Southern Peru, Ica Valley, Paracas culture, ca. 500 to 300 BCE. A set of 2 hand-built and stone-burnished pottery bowls, the larger of which with helical motifs on its interior and exterior surfaces, and the narrower bowl with incised linear and zoomorphic motifs colored with orange and red pigment. Size of larger: 7.8" L x 7.875" W x 2.7" H (19.8 cm x 20 cm x 6.9 cm)
