Description:

Northern Europe, Scandinavia, Viking, ca. 9th to 11th century CE. A broad Viking silver band ring of high purity (approximately 94–96% silver), beautifully decorated with a repeating stamped pattern of triangles on a raised register. The ring's design reflects the geometric ornamentation characteristic of Norse metalwork, which often emphasized symmetry and texture. Such rings were more than adornment - they symbolized allegiance, status, and wealth within Viking society. Size: 0.8" Diameter x 0.375" W (2 cm x 1 cm); US ring size 10; silver quality: 94% to 96%; weight: 6.3 grams
