Eturia. Ca. 9th - 7th century B.C. Large blackware impasto ware pottery urn having a biconical body with a large flared rimmed mouth. Thick loop handle applied at mid body, one handle missing. Overall incised wide bands and square registers of geometric decoration. Scattered mineral deposits and light encrustation. Repaired from approximately thirty original pieces with restoration over most of the breaklines. Size: 18-3/4"H.
