Native American, Southwest United States, Navajo, ca. 1930s CE. A stylish silver concha belt with a leather band and a pretty buckle with three turquoise stones. Along the length are fifteen 93.15% to 94% silver medallions with slightly convex faces and scalloped edges with linear motifs. Each medallion has a copper loop welded on the back for the leather strap to pass through. This belt is wearable as is with multiple piercings through the leather to adjust the length, but a different band could be added to customize the fit! Silver quality: 93.15% to 94%. Size belt and buckle: 39.75" L x 1.5" W (101 cm x 3.8 cm); medallion: 1.5" L x 1.125" W (3.8 cm x 2.9 cm)
