Description:

Ancient Egypt, Third Intermediate to Late Dynastic Period, 21st to 31st Dynasty, ca. 1070 to 332 BCE. A beautiful and wearable necklace comprised of dozens of faience beads in earth tone hues of brown, green, beige, and tan, with a few brighter, aqua blue beads that add nice pops of color. All beads are strung in modern times with an imaginative arrangement that is quite striking! The beads are strung on a single strand, and over 30 brass pin findings are strung with beads then attached to the strand. The tip of each finding has a brass link with a single faience bead dangling from the link. The findings are arranged as a fringe graduating from shorter to lengthier findings at the center. A vintage hook clasp makes this an easy-to-wear accessory of ancient artistry. Size of necklace: 17.5" L (44.4 cm); longest finding: 2.5" L x 0.125" W (6.4 cm x 0.3 cm)
