North America, United States, ca. 19th century CE; Native American / First Nations, Northwestern United States or Canada, Inuit, ca. mid-20th CE. A collection of whalebone and walrus ivory tools, 6 crochet hooks and a double pronged appetizer fork. Two of the hooks have iron heads with bone / ivory handles. The hooks may have been whittled by sailors for loved ones to use back home. Size: 5" L x 0.2" W (12.7 cm x 0.5 cm)
