South Asia, Northeastern India & Myanmar (Burma), Konyak Naga culture, ca. 20th century CE; Cambodia or Thailand, Pagan or Khmer Empire (Angkor culture), ca. 12th to 13th century CE. South American, Chile / Argentina, Mapuche culture, ca. 19th century CE. A collection of 4 pottery vessels, 3 from various Asia cultures, and 1 from South America. The largest pot is a Khmer globular shape with an impressed serrated linear and diamond pattern. The midsized Konyak Naga pot is scored across the surface, the texture perhaps providing a better grip when wet, and the surface covered in soot from use as cooking vessel. The smallest Khmer jar has a corseted neck and incised zigzag pattern. The terracotta pitcher is from the Mapuche people of South America. Size of largest: 9.5" Diameter x 9.5" H (24.1 cm x 24.1 cm); smallest: 3" Diameter x 3.5" H (7.6 cm x 8.9 cm)

- Condition: Naga pot has minor abrasions, but is otherwise intact with heavy soot encrustations on the surface. Chips to the pitcher rim otherwise intact. Small Khmer pot is intact with only minor surface pitting. Largest pot has shallow gouges / abrasions to exterior sides, but it otherwise intact, with soot covering the surface.
